Coordinator, Multilingual and International Student Programs
Debbie Lamb Ousey, M.A. TESOL, coordinates Brandywine’s Office of Multilingual & International Student Programs, co-coordinates the Multilingual Student Course Cluster, and teaches in the English department. She is also adviser to the Multicultural Club. The mother of 2 Penn State students who are currently at University Park, Professor Ousey taught at an international school in Bangkok the year after she graduated college. She has been lucky enough to travel to 13 different countries in Asia and Europe, and she loves welcoming students to Brandywine and helping them make their ideas for campus events become a reality.

Peer Mentors
Kennesha Busby is an international student from the Caribbean island of Anguilla. She is a senior, and her major is Biology: Vertebrate Physiology. She is also pursuing a minor in English, and her career goal is to become a cardiologist. She is involved in various clubs and organizations. These include Multicultural Club, Student Government Association, Brandywine Acapella Club, Connected Community Club, and B.E.A.S.T. Contact info: [email protected]
Nikhita Arunprakash is an international student from India. She is a sophomore, and her major is Cell and Molecular Biology. Her career goal is to be a scientist focusing on oncology and hematology. She enjoys reading books and watching crime-related movies and tv-shows. She also enjoys cooking.

Xavier Viala is a Haitian-American student from Haiti. He is a sophomore and his major is Supply Chain Management and Information Systems. He also wishes to pursue a minor in international business, and his career goal is to be the top supply chain manager of a hospital. He is a part of the Multicultural Club and his hobbies include cooking, learning about the stock market, playing tennis, and watching action and thriller based tv-shows as well as horror movies. DISSA Regional International Student Adviser
Dagmara Karnowski is from Poland and moved to the U.S. in 2008. She started her career as an international student adviser in 2009 at the California State University, Bakersfield.
Dagmara Karnowski joined Penn State in March of 2015. She works as the DISSA Regional International Student Adviser for the Abington, Brandywine, and Great Valley campuses. As an international student advocate, she advises on a wide range of compliance, immigration, and non-immigration matters for F-1 and J-1 students.

Regional Global Education Coordinator
Olga Moskaleva came from Russia in 2011 as an international student. She represents University Park Global Programs in the southeast region. She enjoys working with students and learning with and from them. Together, they have fun developing their intercultural competency, becoming global citizens, sharing their cultures with the Penn State community, and spending time together as they travel and explore Philadelphia or travel to University Park.
